Job summary

EMCOR Government Services is seeking a part-time Floor Specialist for the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA I) project in Washington, DC. The role operates weekends and holidays from 5:30pm to 10:30pm and is represented by SEIU, Local 32BJ.

The position requires prior facilities maintenance or commercial cleaning experience, ability to read English instructions, and flexibility to obtain Public Trust clearance. Work location is Washington, DC (NARA I).

Qualifications

• Previous experience in facilities maintenance or commercial cleaning preferred.
• Proven working experience as a janitor or floor technician (2 yr experience).
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Familiarity with SDS.
• Ability to handle equipment and machinery.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents in English.
• Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Must be able to work Weekends & Holidays 5:30pm – 10:30pm.
