Qualifications

• 1 year experience in maintenance and care of facilities.
• Ability to move and place objects up to 75 pounds.
• Able to work on ladders and operate a Genie lift.
• Must have a valid driver's license for at least 2 years.
• Must communicate effectively in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Willingness to work overtime as needed, per seniority guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning of restrooms, classrooms, offices, and public spaces.
• Conduct floor care including vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and carpet shampooing.
• Operate light and heavy floor machines and related attachments.
• Set up and break down for college events.
• Move heavy furniture, supplies, and equipment as required.
• Collect trash and recyclables.
• Snow shoveling on steps and walkways during inclement weather.
• Change light bulbs and inspect fire extinguishers monthly.
• Assist with after-hours and weekend emergencies as assigned.
