Calvary PSL is seeking a part-time Childcare Assistant to provide a safe, fun, and structured environment for children while parents attend evening classes, small groups, and church events in Port Saint Lucie, FL. You will care for Nursery–5th grade with prepared curriculum and activities.

Ideal candidates bring warmth, prior childcare experience, and a collaborative spirit. Must pass a background check and must be actively attending Calvary PSL.

Qualifications

• Warm, positive attitude and heart for serving children.
• Prior childcare experience preferred.
• Engage confidently with kids of various ages.
• Strong communication within a childcare team.
• Must pass a comprehensive background check.
• Active attendance at Calvary PSL.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured childcare for Nursery–5th grade.
• Lead age-appropriate lessons and activities.
• Ensure safety and follow check-in/check-out policies.
• Maintain peaceful, welcoming classroom environment.
• Support during special events and conferences.
• Assist with setup and cleanup of classrooms.
