Job summary

Cleveland Community College is seeking a Part-Time College and Career Readiness Evening ABE Instructor to support adult learners pursuing high school equivalency.

You will adapt instruction for mixed-ability classrooms, integrate technology, and manage attendance and reporting. This evening adjunct role requires collaboration with the College and Career Readiness team to help students progress toward credentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• Comfort with using technology in the classroom.
• Preferred: experience in Education or Adult Education.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate student education and placement results to determine needs for high school equivalency completion.
• Instruct students at multiple skill levels and implement aligned curriculum.
• Use technology to enhance learning and deliver structured lectures and individualized instruction.
• Register students, monitor attendance, and complete required reports on time.
• Communicate with administration via email and phone.
