Job summary

College of DuPage Esports invites applications for an Assistant Part-time Esports Coordinator. You will support the Head Esports Coach, manage NJCAAE registration, and serve as the program's liaison for league disputes while coaching a competitive title.

The role requires organization, clear communication with students and officials, and readiness to travel in-state to tournaments. A strong background in collegiate coaching and knowledge of NJCAA rules is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or combination of education and coaching experience required.
• Prior collegiate esports coaching experience preferred.
• Must be organized with clear communication to students and league officials.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, or limited overnight assignments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee NJCAAE registration for all competitive teams, ensuring rosters and eligibility requirements are complete and submitted on time
• Serve as the program's designated contact for all NJCAAE‑related disputes, working with league officials to reach resolutions
• Coach one competitive title offered by the program (Super Smash Bros., Valorant, or Rocket League), including practice planning, match preparation, and player development
• Assist the Head Coach in overseeing student employees
• Travel in‑state with teams to esports tournaments (approximately twice per semester)
