Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field; master’s preferred.
• Valid Georgia teaching certificate with ESOL endorsement.
• Minimum of three years teaching experience, incl. English Learners.
• Experience in instructional leadership, coaching, or program coordination preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor the district ESOL program.
• Ensure compliance with ESSA and proper EL identification/exit.
• Oversee ACCESS for ELLs administration and data management.
• Provide instructional leadership and coaching to ESOL teachers.
• Collaborate with principals to support language services across schools.
• Monitor progress with state/local data and adjust programs.
