Job summary

College of Southern Nevada is seeking a part-time ESL instructor to teach college-level courses and develop syllabi and materials. You will evaluate student mastery and contribute to advisement, recruitment, and program development across Clark County campuses.

The role requires teaching availability day, evening, or weekend sessions, with a focus on TESOL/linguistics expertise and higher education experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in TESOL, Linguistics or Second Language acquisition from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Experience teaching ESL in higher education (preferred).
• Experience with computer-assisted instruction and interactive laboratories (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Teach college-level ESL courses and develop syllabi and course materials.
• Evaluate student mastery of skills and outcomes for each course.
• Provide teaching excellence, student advisement, and program/curriculum development.
• Teach at multiple Clark County campuses and be available day, evening, and weekend courses.
