Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Able to use proper body mechanics to safely perform tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and terminal cleaning of patient rooms and ancillary areas per standards.
• Clean equipment and isolate/terminal clean rooms, including negative pressure areas.
• Collect, transport, and dispose of regular, hazardous and medical waste per policy.
• Extract and spin clean carpets; wash walls, ceilings, lights, and refinish hard floors.
• Report repairs to maintain a safe, sanitary environment; rotate shifts as needed.
