Part-Time Environmental Services Associate (Housekeeping)

Join UPMC as a Part-Time Environmental Services Associate (Housekeeping) at the Cranberry location. The role requires working every other weekend and holiday.

Responsibilities:

1. Make beds and follow established cleaning procedures in patient discharge rooms and on-call rooms.
2. Inspect and ensure assigned areas are properly cleaned and in good repair; report issues to the supervisor.
3. Replenish supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap.
4. Clean assigned areas including patient rooms, public areas, toilets, procedure rooms, offices, and equipment.
5. Maintain cleaning equipment in good condition and report problems.
6. Remove trash from all assigned areas.
7. Follow safety and sanitation regulations.
8. Move equipment, furniture, and perform tasks like washing walls and spot cleaning carpets as assigned.
9. Follow written and verbal instructions to complete housekeeping duties.
10. Use housekeeping equipment appropriately.
11. Work in rooms where medications are stored, without contact with medications.
