Job summary

Advocate West Allis Medical Center in Wisconsin is seeking a part-time Environmental Services teammate. The shift runs 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm with rotating weekends and holidays, totaling about 20 hours per week.

No formal education or prior experience is required, and benefits eligibility is noted for eligible teammates. You will clean patient areas, restrooms, offices and public spaces, following infection control guidelines and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Cleans patient care areas, surgical areas, restrooms, lobbies and offices.
• Cleans all environmental surfaces and assists with spills as requested.
• Dusts and mops floors in patient areas and corridors.
• Replaces cubicle and window coverings when needed.
• Gathers and disposes recyclables, trash and medical waste per guidelines.
• Sorts, stocks and delivers linens and prepares soiled linen for transport.
• Fills and cleans supply dispensers and assists in equipment prep.
• Reports mechanical failures or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
