Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Natural Resource Management, Environmental or Natural Science, Biology, Planning, Ecology, or a related field.
• 3–10 years of environmental science experience.

Responsibilities

• Conducts research of wetlands, forests, streams, soils, plants, and wildlife.
• Collects data and field samples during field investigations.
• Analyzes and manages data from field investigations; determines location, size, condition, and impacts to environmental resources.
• Documents methodologies and findings of research and field investigations.
• Assists with geomorphic surveys and design efforts for ecological restoration projects.
• Participates in environmental compliance surveys and NEPA-related activities.
• Writes natural environmental reports, field delineation reports, and impact assessments.
• Assists with regulatory permit applications (e.g., 404/401, ESA consultations, NPDES).
• Assists in preparing scopes of work, fee proposals, and responses to RFPs.
• Participates in field investigations of cultural resources.
• Project management on small-scale projects.
• Supports public involvement materials and meetings.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
