Job Description

Under the supervision of the Regional Manager and working within the Oakland, California area, the Part-Time Field Services Technician (25 hours per week) is responsible for supporting the Medline ReNewal Reprocessing Program by packing and shipping designated medical devices and executing other tasks as agreed with the facility. This individual will deliver prompt and excellent service to maintain and grow the program through various job functions, including but not limited to:

Essential Functions:

1. Establish and follow a regular schedule to visit the assigned facility to collect devices in designated containers.
2. Coordinate the packing of devices in Medline ReNewal shipping containers, employing proper techniques to ensure safe shipment.
3. Arrange for shipment of collection containers in a timely manner.
4. Update the Medline ReNewal Collection Container Locations sheet to provide an accurate record of container placements throughout the facility.
5. Support in-service sessions as directed by the assigned Account Manager.
6. Make regular rounds throughout the facility to introduce self and Medline ReNewal, and to address staff questions and concerns with the Account Manager.
7. Travel locally around Oakland, with potential extension to San Jose and San Francisco.
8. Ensure program supplies remain stocked and distribute collateral as directed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
• Residence in the Oakland area.
• Ability to travel locally 100%, with occasional trips to San Jose and San Francisco.
• Ability to lift at least 30 pounds regularly.
• Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, clean driving record, and ability to use own vehicle for travel.
• Ability to complete collections between 6am and 6pm.
• Credentialing ability to access all required facility areas.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-initiative and dependability for independent work.
