Medline's ReNewal Division is hiring for a Part-Time Field Services Technician (25 hours/week) in the Oakland, CA area! Medline ReNewal reprocesses used medical devices, reducing waste and saving costs for facilities. Check out our YouTube video to learn more about us.

Job Description

Under the supervision of the Regional Manager and working within the Oakland, California area, the Part-Time Field Services Technician (25 hours per week) will support the Medline ReNewal Reprocessing Program. Responsibilities include packing and shipping designated medical devices and other tasks as agreed with the facility. The role aims to provide prompt, excellent service to maintain and grow the program, including but not limited to:

Essential Functions

• Establish and follow a regular schedule to visit the assigned facility to collect devices from designated containers.
• Coordinate the packing of devices in Medline ReNewal shipping containers, ensuring safe shipment.
• Arrange for timely shipment of collection containers.
• Update the Collection Container Locations sheet to track container placement throughout the facility.
• Support in-service sessions as directed by the Account Manager.
• Make regular rounds to introduce and assist staff, and address questions or concerns with the Account Manager.
• Travel locally within Oakland, with potential trips to San Jose and San Francisco.
• Ensure supplies remain stocked and distribute program collateral as directed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
• Residence in the Oakland area.
• Ability to travel locally 100%, including trips to San Jose and San Francisco.
• Ability to lift at least 30 pounds regularly.
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, clean driving record, and ability to use own vehicle.
• Flexible to complete collections between 6am and 6pm.
• Credentialing to access all required rooms within facilities.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-initiative and dependability in an independent role.

The salary range is $20.50 - $28.75 per hour, depending on experience and location.
