Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Clinical Engineering (CE) Tech I for our Supply Chain Center in Midvale, UT. This entry‑level role maintains and services medical equipment under supervision, performing installation, calibration, and repair for a limited scope of devices.

You will work part‑time, Monday–Friday with varying hours, use CMMS for documentation, and follow safety and regulatory requirements to support patient care.

Qualifications

• Experience with medical equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Ability to follow established protocols and processes for equipment maintenance.
• Demonstrated ability to respond to issues and document actions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation, calibration, and repair of assigned medical equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on low/medium risk devices.
• Document activities in CMMS and maintain PHI confidentiality.
• Follow safety and regulatory requirements for medical equipment management.
• Support a range of clinical environments under supervision.
• Collaborate with teammates and supervisors to resolve equipment issues.
