Terrapin House, Inc. in Garnet Valley, PA is seeking a Part-Time Direct Support Professional to join a warm family and support their son in daily living and community activities.

You will assist with personal care, daily routines, and coordinating recreational outings while maintaining safety and structured day-to-day life. A compassionate, patient team member is essential for lasting, meaningful impact.

Qualifications

• One of the following is required: RBT, CNA, or a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, Gerontology, Human Services, or a related field.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass Pennsylvania background checks.
• Ability to pass a drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care needs such as dressing, showering, meals, and daily routines.
• Spending quality time together at home and in the community.
• Supporting participation in recreational activities, volunteer opportunities, and outings.
• Helping create a structured, positive, and successful day.
• Encouraging independence while providing guidance and support when needed.
• Following established support strategies and behavior plans to help ensure safety and success.

Garnet Valley, PA | $36.00/Hour + Mileage Reimbursement

Schedule

• Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Additional hours may be available on Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM

What You'll Be Doing
