Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Reno, NV. You will provide customer service to visitors and staff, enforce site procedures, and respond to incidents with calm professionalism.

This role offers fixed anchor shifts with six months commitment and the option to pick up extra shifts to increase earnings. A high school diploma is required and CPR/First Aid are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid are preferred.
• Experience with security equipment and procedures is valued.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen will be conducted as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and professionally per site protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, and entrances to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor facility access and verify credentials; maintain incident logs.
• Communicate with site personnel and responders, escalating concerns per procedures.
