Job summary

Qualifications

• New York State Security Guard License
• At least 1 year of security-related experience
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Background check and drug screening required by law
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff following security-related procedures and site policies
• Respond to incidents and disturbances calmly and escalate as needed according to site procedures
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry, reporting suspicious activity or maintenance concerns
• Complete activity logs and shift communications per government location procedures and Allied Universal requirements
