Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Inspection in Nashville, TN. The role offers reliable, fixed anchor shifts at a designated site with the option to pick-up additional shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $19.00 per hour. The position provides part-time hours with the potential to grow into a full-time schedule, including up to 40 hours per week, and access to company tools and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least three years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and government facility personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with government location requirements; verify credentials and direct individuals to appropriate areas as authorized.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports, and communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership.
