Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or property concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe activity within the location, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Assist with directing visitors, providing information, documenting incidents, and communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
