Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Credentialing in Santa Monica, CA. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with a six-month commitment and options to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

The position requires at least 6 months of security experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid guard card/license preferred. Ability to work days and nights, with a strong customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience or equivalent.
• Guard card/license preferred where applicable.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors and staff following site policies.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns and emergencies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of common areas and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and document patrols and incidents per site procedures.
• Assist visitors with directions and general property concerns.
