Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field.

• Commitment to student engagement in online teaching, including maintaining consistent communication and virtual support.
• Technology capability to teach remotely.
• Ability to teach in a variety of modalities including virtually.
• Competence in virtual education and professional development.
• Willingness to learn Canvas and TOPS 2.2 prior to teaching.
• Experience with or willingness to learn AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Teach specific classes in Engineering Technology.
• Develop course syllabi and instructional materials.
• Maintain records, assign grades, and assess student progress.
• Adhere to GCC and VCCS policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Maintain current competence in the discipline.
