Job summary

Bechtel Corporation in Reston, VA is seeking a senior engineering leader to guide a team, organize, execute, and coordinate the engineering aspects of complex projects. You will participate in planning, proposals, and own the engineering elements of capital estimates to keep scope and budget in check.

This role is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or related field.
• 13–15 years of relevant experience, or 17–19 years in lieu.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple small projects or designated medium to large complex engineering assignments within a global business unit.
• Own the engineering elements of a project capital estimate and proposals.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, Procurement, Construction, Startup, ES&H and Project Controls.
• Review major changes or deviations in project scope, budget or schedule and advise on estimates and adjustments.
