Telios Corporation in Overland Park, KS, seeks a Part-Time Engineering Intern to assist with the design and analysis of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and technology systems, and to support project management on active production projects during the internship.

Responsibilities include assisting with commissioning, field reports, narrating scripts, and coordinating with manufacturers and contractors, with project work spanning healthcare, commercial, industrial and education sectors.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an ABET-accredited four-year college or university pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, architectural, other closely related engineering discipline
• Available to work a regular part-time schedule during the academic year while maintaining academic progress toward degree completion
• Must have successfully completed a Telios summer engineering internship

Job Title: Part-Time Engineering Intern

Job Summary

The Part-Time Engineering Intern is responsible for designing and/or assisting with design and analysis of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and technology systems, assist with direct client relations and project management of projects that are in production during your internship. Commissioning responsibilities may include field reports, narrating scripts, and coordinating with manufacturers and contractors. Project design may include, but is not limited to design and load analyses, for mechanical, electrical, plumbing and technology systems. Based on market conditions, which are subject to change, the company will likely pursue healthcare, mission critical, commercial, industrial, assisted living, municipal, multi-family, higher education, and retail projects during your internship period.
