Qualifications

• ACLS within 1 year of employment start date.
• BCLS/BLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN with state license.
• At least 1 year of RN experience; Endoscopy experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery.
• Provide patient and family education about the procedure.
• Prepare patients including IV therapy and preoperative meds.
• Assist with surgical site verification and universal protocols.
• Recognize and respond to emergencies.
• Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered nursing care.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
• Document patient condition and care thoroughly.
• Educate patients and families about post-op care.
