Job summary

Elnunu Medical Pc in New York, NY seeks a part-time Endocrinologist to collaborate with our family medicine team in diabetes and lipid management. You will evaluate, treat, and follow adult patients with Type 1/2 diabetes and dyslipidemia in an outpatient setting.

The role offers flexible days and hours, no hospital calls, and a supportive multidisciplinary environment where you’ll develop individualized plans and educate patients to improve long-term outcomes.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology.
• Active medical license (state-specific).
• DEA registration (if applicable).
• Strong interest in outpatient, collaborative care.
• Excellent communication and patient education skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.
• Provide ongoing care for hypercholesterolemia and lipid disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, including lifestyle counseling and medication management.
• Interpret laboratory results and adjust therapy accordingly.
• Collaborate with primary care providers for coordinated, team-based care.
• Educate patients on disease management, prevention, and long-term complications.
• Document care in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Follow evidence-based guidelines and best practices.
