Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced EMT Patrol Driver in North Haven, CT. This part-time role offers fixed shifts with potential for extra shifts through our Earn More program and a pay rate of $23.16 per hour.

You will patrol, monitor accesses, and respond to incidents while upholding healthcare environment standards. Ideal candidates hold EMT certification, a valid driver’s license, and are at least 18 years old (21+ for armed roles).

Qualifications

• EMT certification is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check and drug screen as per policy.
• Licensing may be required for certain roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff while following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain logs.
• Communicate professionally with healthcare personnel and first responders.
