Job summary

Allied Universal offers a part-time Security Officer position in Reading, PA where you’ll monitor and protect client facilities across manufacturing and industrial sites. A valid driver’s license and EMT certification are required, with prior customer service experience highly valued.

Qualifications

• EMT certification is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A background check and drug screen may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and follow reporting/escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of manufacturing and industrial areas and monitor access points.
• Verify credentials and maintain visitor, contractor, and vehicle records.
• Communicate observations and maintenance concerns to site contacts and leadership.
