Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking EMTs for part-time shifts in the Mattoon area. EMTs will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests, assess patients, administer appropriate care, document findings, and ensure safe, clean treatment environments.

Collaboration with healthcare and public safety personnel is essential. Required: High school diploma or GED, State EMT license, State driver’s license, BLS and NREMT certifications, and the ability to pass a physical agility test.

Qualifications

• Some healthcare work experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and determine necessary care during emergencies
• Document patient information with confidentiality
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for patients
• Operate EMT equipment and communicate with team
• Follow safety policies and traffic laws when driving EMS vehicle
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel
• Participate in community programs to support AMR image
