Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) in Benton, IL. The role is part-time with opportunities for full-time shifts. Starting compensation is $18.91+ per hour, with annual equivalents for full-time positions noted.

EMTs will respond to emergencies and provide high quality care and customer service. A state EMT license, BLS, and NREMT are required, along with a driver’s license and a valid high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• EMTs provide patient assessment, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stocked environment for patients.
• Utilize EMT skills for care, including communications, equipment handling, and procedures.
• Operate an ambulance in accordance with safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and community relations.
