Job summary
Gila Community College in Globe, AZ invites applications for a part-time Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Instructor. The position requires a current EMT or Paramedic certification, BLS Provider certification, EMS Instructor certification, and three or more years of EMT/Paramedic experience.

Qualifications
- A combination of education, training and experience that meets credentialing guidelines for the instructional area.
- Hold a current EMT or Paramedic Certification in good standing.
- Hold BLS Provider certification and EMS Instructor certification.
- Three or more years of direct EMT or Paramedic experience.
- Ability to pass a background screening process and/or obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Responsibilities
- Teach foundational EMT skills and manage a safe learning environment.
- Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials.
- Assess student progress and maintain lab equipment.
- Provide one-on-one tutoring and student advising as needed.
- Attend College activities and trainings as directed.
