Job summary

Unitek Learning is seeking an EMT Teaching Assistant to support the EMT program in Tempe, AZ. You will work with lead instructors to deliver hands-on demonstrations and ensure students develop essential emergency medical skills.

The role emphasizes classroom assistance, skill assessments, and helping manage practical sessions in accordance with DOT guidelines. Arizona EMT and BLS credentials are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Arizona EMT Certification.
• Must hold current BLS Provider Certification.
• Must have EMT Program Director endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Assist EMT Principal (Lead) Instructor with demonstrations and practice to develop and evaluate student skill competencies.
• Assist EMT Principal (Lead) Instructor with conducting the EMT program sessions.

Job Description

We are looking for an EMT Teaching Assistant to join our team.

This position will implement the Emergency Medical Technician – Basic Program curriculum in accordance with DOT.

• Assisting the EMT Principal (Lead) Instructor / EMT Instructor in demonstration and practice designed to develop and evaluate student skill competencies; and
• Assisting the EMT Principal (Lead) Instructor / EMT Instructor in conducting the program sessions

Qualifications

• Possession of valid Arizona EMT Certification
• Possession of current BLS Provider Certification
• Endorsement of EMT Program Director
