Job summary

ATvantage LLC in Erdenheim, PA is seeking a part-time EMT to join the Event Coverage Core Team. This W2 hourly role offers predictable local scheduling, a supportive leadership network, and a professional environment for experienced EMTs.

The role emphasizes on-site emergency response, triage, and athlete care during local events with a flexible ~8–15 hours/week schedule. Training and teamwork are core to the position.

Qualifications

• 3+ years EMT event coverage experience.
• Current EMT Certification (NREMT or PA).
• Current CPR / BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• Mandated Reporter training within the last 2 years.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to shift locations in/around Erdenheim, PA.
• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality on-site emergency medical coverage, initial triage, and first aid during assigned local athletic and event coverage shifts.
• Respond rapidly to acute medical incidents, athletic injuries, or emergency situations on-site.
• Assess patient conditions, deliver immediate care within the EMT scope of practice, and coordinate higher-level EMS transport when necessary.
• Maintain clear, accurate, and confidential electronic incident and care documentation.
• Maintain and inventory event medical kits and emergency response supplies before and after shifts.
• Serve as a professional, calm, and reassuring medical presence for athletes, event participants, staff, and spectators.
