ATvantage Athletic Training is seeking a reliable EMT to join the Event Coverage Core Team in PA. This part-time, hourly role offers predictable local scheduling, with shifts ~2–3 times per week and 8–15 hours weekly.

You will provide on-site emergency medical coverage, perform triage, and coordinate higher-level EMS when needed. The position requires 3+ years EMT event experience, current EMT certification, CPR/BLS, and PA clearances.

• Current EMT Certification (NREMT and/or PA State).
• Current CPR/BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• Background checks and state-required clearances (e.g., FBI, CHRI).

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site EMT coverage and initial triage during local athletic/event shifts.
• Respond to acute medical incidents on-site.
• Assess patient conditions and coordinate EMS transport when needed.
• Maintain confidential incident and care documentation.
• Inventory and maintain event medical kits and supplies.
• Serve as a calm medical presence for athletes, staff, and spectators.

What You’ll Do

• Provide high‑quality on‑site emergency medical coverage, initial triage, and first aid during assigned local athletic and event coverage shifts.
• Respond rapidly to acute medical incidents, athletic injuries, or emergency situations on‑site.
• Assess patient conditions, deliver immediate care within the EMT scope of practice, and coordinate higher‑level EMS transport when necessary.
• Maintain clear, accurate, and confidential electronic incident and care documentation.
• Maintain and inventory event medical kits and emergency response supplies before and after shifts.
• Serve as a professional, calm, and reassuring medical presence for athletes, event participants, staff, and spectators.

Requirements

• 3+ years EMT Event Experience REQUIRED
• Current EMT Certification (NREMT and/or Pennsylvania EMT State Certification)
• Current CPR / BLS for Healthcare Providers certification
• Mandated Reporter training within the last 2 years
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to shift locations in/around Erdenheim, PA
• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor under pressure
• Background checks and clearances as required by Pennsylvania state guidelines (e.g., Child Abuse, FBI Fingerprinting, Criminal History)
