Job summary

Bastrop County Emergency Services District #3 is seeking a Part Time Attendant at the EMT or EMT-Advanced level to support emergency medical services in Bastrop County, TX. The Attendant will respond to emergency calls, provide medical assessment and care, and transport patients to facilities while complying with safety and infection control policies.

This role works within a 911 system across a growing suburban/rural area and requires credentialing within Bastrop ESD #3 within specified

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• EMT or EMT-Advanced certification.
• Valid Texas Class C driver’s license or ability to obtain.
• 1 year of EMS or patient care experience in an emergency setting.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide medical care on scene.
• Administer CPR, defibrillation, wound care, and medications as needed.
• Safely transport patients while monitoring condition and communicating with dispatch and hospital staff.
• Maintain accurate patient care reports and documentation.
• Operate and maintain ambulance equipment and supplies.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations and protocols.
