Job summary

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment is seeking a Part-Time Emergency Medical Technician at Busch Gardens. You will provide emergency medical care to employees and park guests, assess injuries, and support safety and prevention training.

The role requires EMT or Paramedic certification, CPR HCP card, and at least six months of BLS experience, plus the ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays. Enjoy a dynamic park environment with strong teamwork and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR healthcare provider card (HCP) required.
• Six months of related experience providing BLS patient care including volunteer work.
• EMT or Paramedic Certification required or in process (local/state)
• Able to respond to patient needs and communicate effectively with team and guests.

Responsibilities

Part-Time, Emergency Medical Technician

What you get to do:

What it takes to succeed:

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR health care provider card (HCP).
• Relevant local/state EMT or Paramedic Certification.
• Six months of related experience providing BLS patient care including volunteer work.
• Able to respond to patient needs and make sound decisions.
• Able to represent the company and communicate to representatives.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as medical doses and shots, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Able to work on weekends, evenings, overnight shifts and holidays.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Able to work indoors and in outside weather conditions (i.e. sunny, wet, and/or humid conditions)
• Able to positively interact with park guests and co-workers of all ages, different ethnic/cultural backgrounds and/or languages and individuals with special needs.
