Job summary

HealthYes Staffing Network is seeking a California-licensed physician with demonstrated EMG and nerve conduction study experience for an ongoing, one-day-per-week opportunity in the Greater Bakersfield area.

The position is designed for a local physician who wants to add one consistent clinical day without leaving an existing practice, while applying electrodiagnostic skills in an outpatient setting and collaborating with the practice's clinical and administrative team.

Qualifications

• Active California medical license is required.
• Demonstrated experience independently performing and interpreting EMG/NCS studies.
• Training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation or Neurology is strongly preferred.
• Board certification or eligibility in the physician's primary specialty is preferred.
• Available to work one consistent day per week in the Greater Bakersfield area.

Responsibilities

• Perform electromyography and nerve conduction studies
• Evaluate patients referred for electrodiagnostic testing
• Review relevant medical histories, symptoms, and clinical findings
• Identify peripheral nerve, neuromuscular, and related conditions
• Interpret testing accurately and develop complete diagnostic reports
• Communicate clinically relevant findings to referring providers
• Educate patients regarding the testing process and findings
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Follow applicable patient-safety, infection-control, and professional standards
• Collaborate with the practice's clinical and administrative team
