Adventist HealthCare’s Shady Grove Medical Center seeks a Unit Support Coordinator for the Emergency Department. This role supports operations, processes physician orders, and maintains records with a focus on clear communication and patient-centered service.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, at least 6 months hospital/clinic experience, basic medical terminology, and proficiency with PC and email.

Qualifikationen

• At least 6 months experience in a hospital or doctor’s office.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology required.
• Proficient in PC, Internet and email.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Training in data entry of clinical systems preferred.

• Support departmental operations by providing effective and timely communications, maintaining a clean, safe and orderly work environment, maintaining data and related records, and by performing clerical and other support services as directed.
• Responsible for processing physician orders, communication, and other general duties.
