Job Description

Description of Service Opportunity:

ELL After School Teachers needed to support English Language Learners at K-5 SEI program schools at Graham and Parks. The ELL After school program provides academic instruction and support In English language development, reading, and math.

Hours: 6 per week

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university, courses in second language acquisition, and/or applied linguistics. A minimum of 3 years experience working with ELL students in a linguistically diverse or urban school setting.

Proficiency in English and a language other than English is preferred, although not required.

Length of Contract:

October 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027

Contract Amount

Not exceed $5880.00

Please note that the contract has not yet been fully executed; therefore, it has not been posted, and the final agreed-upon terms are not yet available. At this time, we are continuing to follow the provisions of the previous contract regarding compensation, benefits, and other applicable terms.

Once the new contract has been fully executed, it will be posted on the CPSD Union Contracts page, linked here, which will provide access to the finalized agreement.
