Job summary
Jordan Catholic School is seeking a driven Intervention Teacher to join our team, serving elementary students in Kindergarten through 4th grade. The role focuses on inclusive education for students with learning differences or behavioral needs, emphasizing collaboration with families and staff.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Special Education, a valid license, and experience with diverse learners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
- Valid teaching license in Special Education or Intervention.
- Experience with diverse learning needs and disabilities.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in special education.
- Must pass drug screening and background check.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- Alignment with the Jordan Catholic School mission.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans for students with disabilities.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
- Provide small group and one-on-one instruction.
- Monitor progress with ongoing assessments and adjust goals.
- Communicate progress with teachers, administration and parents.
- Support behavior intervention plans as needed.
- Uphold the Catholic mission in instruction.
