Job summary

The Manheim Central School District seeks a PT Instructional Assistant for Doe Run Elementary in Manheim, PA. You will support Kindergarten through 4th grade learners in the classroom and library, supervise in lunch and recess, and collaborate with teachers to reinforce learning and social-emotional development. This 10-month position runs 8:15 a.m.

to 1:30 p.m. with unpaid lunch; compensation ranges from $15.62 to $21.87 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with children in educational settings preferred.
• Associate degree or 2 years postsecondary coursework may be required for Title I positions.
• Ability to meet state and district standards for instructional aides/paraprofessionals.

Responsibilities

• Implements instructional programs and activities as directed by teachers.
• Collects and maintains data on student progress and supports monitoring.
• Provides clerical and resource support for instruction.
• Monitors behavior and supports students during non-instructional times.
• Maintains confidentiality with students, staff, and families.
