Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College - Terre Haute Campus is seeking Part Time Adjunct Faculty to teach during the day and on campus in a face-to-face classroom. These positions are in our Elementary Education Program and are temporary, part-time positions hired each semester on an as-needed basis.

The adjunct faculty member will create an engaging learning environment, deliver instruction, develop syllabi and assessments, and maintain student records in alignment with college policies and FERPA.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in education or a related field.
• Professional certification in the field or three years of elementary/secondary teaching experience.
• Must meet faculty credentials per ASOM 7.1 and comply with FERPA and college policies.

Responsibilities

• Teach during the day on campus in a face-to-face classroom.
• Develop/maintain course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments.
• Maintain accurate student records and engage with students professionally.
