Qualifications

• Must hold a master’s or higher degree in early childhood education or child development.
• 18 graduate credit hours in related fields and appropriate course preparation.
• Professional certification or two years of directly related work experience.
• Bilingual-Spanish language preferred

Responsibilities

• Delivers assigned classes in alignment with college policy and course objectives.
• Uses technology to enhance instructional methods.
• Develops/maintains outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials; maintains records.
• Engages with students to promote active learning and positive experiences.
• Monitors and documents student performance; coordinates interventions and supports.
• Interacts with students and colleagues professionally and follows policies.
• Implements emergency and safety procedures in all learning environments
