Job summary

Dunwoody College of Technology is seeking a part-time adjunct faculty member to teach Introduction to 3D Drafting & Design. The role focuses on learner-centered instruction and hands-on, high-impact practices to support equitable student success and measurable learning outcomes.

The position reports to the Associate Dean of Construction Sciences and Building Technology and involves online evening teaching, using the LMS and industry tools to deliver the course.

Qualifications

• Foster a learner-centered classroom environment that supports equitable student learning and success.
• Teach established student learning outcomes and curriculum through Dunwoody’s LMS.
• Use engagement and assessment methods to facilitate learning of course outcomes.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback to students.
• Maintain accurate grades and attendance records.

Responsibilities

• Meet classes as scheduled.
• Prepare and distribute syllabi in accordance with procedures.
• Evaluate students based on academic performance and intervene if needed.
• Be accessible to students outside class hours via Dunwoody email or MS Teams.
• Submit information related to duties in a timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned.
