Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, education, or related field.
• Experience teaching or working with middle school students.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English Language Arts instruction.
• Teach reading, literature, writing, grammar, vocabulary.
• Adapt instruction using established curriculum.
• Differentiate lessons for varying abilities.
• Provide small-group and individual academic support.
• Assess student learning and provide feedback.
• Maintain records of progress, assignments, and grades.
• Set clear expectations and foster respectful environment.
• Collaborate with leadership, educators, and student-support staff.
• Communicate with families about student progress.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development.
