Mid America Health, Inc. is seeking a part-time Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to join our Ohio team in Chillicothe, OH.

The EFDA will work 32 hours per week (Mon-Thu 7:00am-3:30pm) between Ross Correctional Institution and Chillicothe Correctional Institution, with no late nights or weekends and a $800 sign-on bonus. Formación

• 1 year experience and certificate from an accredited dental assisting program preferred.
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers is REQUIRED.
• Active Ohio Dental Radiographer License is REQUIRED.
• Active Ohio Expanded Functions Dental Auxiliary license is REQUIRED.
• Must be willing to travel throughout Ohio as the position transitions to that stage.

Responsabilidades

• Routine chairside duties include preventive, restorative, extraction, and prosthodontic care.
• Placement and finishing of permanent fillings, fluoride varnishes, and desensitizing agents.
• Provision of oral hygiene instructions; no ortho or crown & bridge; some admin duties.
