Mid-America Health Inc. seeks an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our Ohio team at Noble Correctional Institution in Caldwell. The PT role is 32 hours/week Tue-Fri 7:00am-3:30pm, with $35/hour pay and full benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and generous PTO/holidays. Flexible spending and HSA available. No evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience and certificate from an accredited dental assisting program preferred.
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers and active Ohio radiographer license are REQUIRED.
• Active Ohio Expanded Functions Dental Auxiliary license is REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Routine chairside duties: preventive, restorative, extraction and prosthodontic care.
• Placement and finishing of permanent dental fillings; fluoride varnish applications and desensitizing agents; oral hygiene instructions.
• No orthodontics or crown & bridge; very limited endodontics.

Part Time Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Job Description:

Mid America Health is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to join our Ohio team. This EFDA position will work part- time, 32 hours per week (Tuesday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm), at the Noble Correctional Institution in Caldwell, OH. Part Time Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Job Duties:

Part Time Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Job Qualifications:

1 year experience and certificate from an accredited dental assisting program preferred. Current CPR for Healthcare Providers, Active Ohio Dental Radiographer License, and Active Ohio Expanded Functions Dental Auxiliary license are REQUIRED. MUST be willing to travel throughout Ohio, once the position transitions to that stage.
