Mid America Health is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to join our Ohio team in Caldwell at Noble Correctional Institution. This part-time EFDA role spans 32 hours weekly, Tue-Fri 7:00 am–3:30 pm, with a competitive rate of $35 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in dental assisting preferred.
• Certificate from an accredited dental assisting program is preferred.
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers required.
• Active Ohio Dental Radiographer License required.
• Active Ohio Expanded Functions Dental Auxiliary license required.
• Must be willing to travel throughout Ohio as duties expand.

Responsibilities

• Routine chairside duties include preventive, restorative, extraction, and prosthodontic care.
• Placement and finishing of permanent fillings, fluoride varnishes, desensitizing agents, and oral hygiene instruction.
• No ortho or crown & bridge with very limited endo required.
• Some administrative duties are also required.

Mid America Health is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to join our Ohio team. This EFDA position will work part- time, 32 hours per week (Tuesday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm), at the Noble Correctional Institution in Caldwell, OH.
