The University of Kansas Department of Educational Psychology is building an instructor pool of qualified applicants to serve as part-time, temporary teaching positions at the undergraduate and/or graduate level. Amount of work required can vary by position and will range in FTE.

This term appointment for Fall 2026 is not eligible for tenure or promotion and renewal will be based upon unit needs, funding, and performance that meets expectations, not to exceed two continuous semesters.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology, School Psychology, Educational Psychology, or related area.

Responsibilities

• Teaching in a specific field and developing course materials.
• Developing and managing syllabi, creating lectures and assignments.
• Grading student work and advising students, with office hours.
• Collaborating with colleagues and adhering to departmental, school/college and university policies.
