Job summary

Saint Mary School in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts is seeking a Part-Time Director of Technology to provide strategic leadership and support for the school’s technology systems. The role focuses on maintaining infrastructure, supporting faculty and staff, and promoting ethical use of technology in line with Catholic values, reporting to the Principal.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience) and experience with educational IT systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.
Experience managing IT in educational settings preferred.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Familiarity with instructional technology and learning management systems.

Responsibilities

Oversee and maintain the school’s technology infrastructure (hardware, software, networks, security).
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for faculty, staff, and students.
Manage and update educational technology tools and classroom resources.
Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement a long-term technology plan and budget.
Train and support teachers in integrating technology into the curriculum.
Ensure compliance with data privacy, cybersecurity, and acceptable use policies.
Coordinate with external vendors and service providers as needed.
