Job summary

The Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center is seeking an Education Lead to support youth education programs. You will coordinate daily needs, prepare engaging lessons, and ensure counselors have resources for rewarding experiences.

Starting pay is $15.00 per hour for a part-time role of 29 hours per week. The position emphasizes safety, effective communication with families, and a welcoming environment aligned with our mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, youth development, ministry, organizational leadership, or related field preferred.
• At least two years of related experience in education, youth programming, ministry, or similar setting.
• Experience providing staff guidance, program leadership, or supervision preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare counselor schedules at least two weeks in advance and within 19-hour weekly limits.
• Provide coverage for multiple education programs as needed.
• Help ensure Safe From Harm staffing ratios are maintained.
• Train and guide counselors on program expectations and safety.
